Head Start's 11th National Research Conference

Ortho is proud to sponsor the Head Start National Research Conference for 2012. The Conference will be held June 18-20, 2012 at the Grand Hyatt Washington in Washington, DC.

Head Start's National Research Conference is a biennial event, which provides practitioners, researchers, administrators, and policy makers involved in Head Start, early childhood, childcare, health care, and administration programs the opportunity to share research that promotes positive development in young children.

IFTA 2012 World Family Therapy Congress - Couples Therapy: Advancing the Profession

Ortho is a collaborating organization for the 20th World Family Therapy Congress to be held March 21 - March 24, 2012. We invite you to join colleagues from around the world at the Sheraton Wall Centre, Vancouver, Canada.

The 2012 Congress has as its theme, Couples Therapy: Advancing the Profession. The Congress will focus on the latest treatment techniques in couples therapy as well as presenting approaches to a variety of problems and ways of coping with them. The congress aims to help heal hurting couples and families in various cultures.

Presentation Proposals are being accepted through September 15, 2011.

Conference: Affective Disorders – Mind, Body, and Society

The International Society for Affective Disorders (ISAD) announced the dates for its 2012 international conference that will be held in London, UK in April, 18-20. The goal of the conference is to act as a forum for an exchange of ideas and information in a multidisciplinary environment that integrates scientific advances and practical pragmatism. Recognized experts and key opinion leaders from different parts of the world will discuss major topics in the study of affective disorders, including co-morbidity between affective and medical disorders, integration of biological and psychological treatments, cultural and gender variations in mood and anxiety disorders, and many more. This interdisciplinary event brings together clinicians, researchers and educators from a wide variety of fields.
